Pursuing Scholarships on Bold.org
I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I'm an underdog. Being on this college search journey has been difficult and discouraging. However, I am stepping out of my comfort zone and going after it. I love school; that and the motivation of my family is why I want to further expand my education. This scholarship would help me be a step closer to my dream of being an Athletic trainer. As someone who has been injured; I lost hope and even lost myself throughout the injury. I overcame that, stayed on the positive side, and found my passion again. I want to help athletes and even non-athletes recover, from injuries and give them that encouragement to keep chasing their dream after an injury. I want to be able to go to a great school and be noticed for my achievements. Receiving this scholarship would be a blessing and a great investment in my future so that I can give back to the world and help rehabilitate our people. I try to excel in everything I do and I fight for everything. I want to be the first in my family generation to go to college. I want to be a great role model for my siblings, and cousins, and prove to my family that I am capable. I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because although I am an underdog, I won't count myself out.
